Generic LCD2004 screen for 3D printer with adapter for RAMPS
This screen allows the control and adjustment of your printer. It is to be used with your RAMPS motherboard (1.4 / 1.5 / 1.6) and the arduino. At first, I had to stay connected to the computer, and by m21 command, force to recognize the presence of an SD card. After 3 years, the connections with the SD card were so degraded that the system was unusable. The new screen is almost identical to the old one. A few grams lighter, but above all, it is fully operational, without needing a connection to a computer. See in the long run. I am apprehensive about the vibrations from the 3D printer and plan to dampen them to preserve the longevity of the new screen. (Translated review)
