Optical limit switches

Optical limit sensors allow you to create an electronic stop on your 3D printer axes. Thanks to their optical slot couplers they allow a more accurate detection without the problems of an electromechanical sensor. They will be used on the 0 position of your axes but can also be used on the max position of your axes because most 3D printer motherboards contain 6 inputs for the limit sensors: Xmin, Xmax, Ymin, Ymax, Zmin and Zmax. The sensors are delivered with their cable. Even if they are generally used on 3D printers, these optical limit sensors can be used on any type of machine or robot.
